About Repvoice
Repvoice is a strength-training log for iPhone and Apple Watch built around voice. Lifters hold anywhere on the screen and say the set the way they'd say it to a training partner: “three by eight at eighty”, “bench 100 for 5”, “same again”. Repvoice reads it back, logs it and starts the rest timer, which keeps running on the Lock Screen.
Speech is recognized on the iPhone and the microphone only listens while the button is held. When a number is ambiguous (eighteen or eighty?), Repvoice asks instead of guessing. With Siri and AirPods, the phone can stay in the bag.
Every PR updates the Lifter Card: a 1–99 rating for chest, back, legs, shoulders, arms and core based on estimated 1RM relative to bodyweight, ready to share. Next-session suggestions come from fixed double-progression rules, never from a guess, with one line explaining why.
- Voice logging with read-back and one-tap undo
- Siri and Action Button support
- Apple Watch: log with the Digital Crown, haptic rest timer, workouts saved to the Health app
- Lifter Card: six muscle-group ratings that level up with PRs
- Calisthenics: reps, holds in seconds and added weight
- Local-first, no account, free CSV export. Lifting only: no food or calorie tracking
Why we built it
Repvoice is made by Pediaca, LLC, a small independent studio founded by Santiago Gonzalez, an Argentine developer. We build a few focused iPhone apps, each doing one job well, with honest pricing and no dark patterns.
We built Repvoice because typing sets on a phone between heavy sets is the worst part of tracking a workout. Talking is faster, and it keeps rest periods for resting.
