Repvoice

Voice logging

A workout log you talk to

Typing sets on a phone between heavy sets is slow, and the keyboard is the last thing you want with chalk on your hands. A voice workout log lets you say the set out loud and get back to resting.

How it works

In Repvoice you hold anywhere on the screen and say the set the way you'd say it to a training partner. Repvoice reads it back, logs it and starts your rest timer.

Repvoice logging a set by voice: three by eight at eighty
  • “Three by eight at eighty”: three sets of eight reps with 80.
  • “Bench 100 for 5”: one set of the named exercise.
  • “Same again”: repeat your last set.
  • “Pull ups 8 7 6”: reps only, set by set.
  • Holds in seconds for planks and other static work.
  • kg or lb: “eighty kilos” or “two twenty-five”.

What happens when it isn't sure

Gyms are loud and “eighteen” sounds a lot like “eighty”. When the number is ambiguous, Repvoice asks instead of guessing. You always see what it heard and what it logged, with one-tap undo, so a wrong set never sneaks into your history.

Private by design

Speech is recognized on your iPhone. The microphone listens only while you hold the button, and your log stays on your device (backed up with your iPhone). No account, no feed.

Why voice beats typing in the gym

  • Rest stays rest. No unlocking, scrolling and typing between sets.
  • Fewer forgotten sets. Logging right after the set is easier when it takes two seconds.
  • Works with gloves and chalk. A long press anywhere on the screen, no small targets.
  • Works with AirPods. With Siri, the phone can stay in your bag. See how to log sets hands-free.

Unlimited logging by tap on iPhone and Apple Watch, the rest timer, Live Activity, widgets, plate math, your Lifter Card and CSV export are free, and you get 10 voice logs to try voice. Repvoice Pro adds unlimited voice logging and Siri, next-session plans and all your history.

Questions

Does it work in a loud gym?

It's built for it: you hold to talk, and when a number is ambiguous it asks instead of guessing.

Can I still type or tap?

Yes. Tap logging is free and unlimited. Voice is there when it's faster.

Does Repvoice track food or calories?

No. Repvoice is only about lifting.

Android?

Not yet. Repvoice is for iPhone and Apple Watch.
